After a couple weeks at home, it was time to move in to college. I've only been at Middlebury a week now, but its been a whirlwind! With orientation activities around the clock, my transition has been quite eventful. In addition, I spent last weekend at the USST camp in Lake Placid, and am headed back there for another chunk of training later this week. Its been great to get to train with the group over there, while still starting to get used to college. I'm excited to make the most of this new experience, and so far college has been even more fun than I ever expected!
Here are some pictures from the summer:
at BKL camp, we did a relay were you spun around a bat and then had to run across the gym....I got a bit dizzy and connected with the floor:)
we kept up with our core routines on Cape Cod by getting all the cousins to join in!
goofing around at Junior camp.
part way through our combo OD on the last day of Junior camp
while I was home, before I left for school I got to train with the team at SMS, here we're doing some uphill sprint finishes
racing 420 class sailboats with my cousin Jen on Cape Cod is one of my favorite summer activities!
and at the beginning of June, my brother Scott and I hiked up to the remains of the half pipe at Sun Bowl and got in some fun summer skiing!

Next update will come from Lake Placid this weekend...I'm looking forward to the Climb to the Castle roller ski race on Saturday!
