Last night we took a trip in to Lahti, a big city/town about 30 minutes from our hotel. After walking around for a while, we went to the World Cup venue, which is just outside of the town. All of the trails, ski jumps, and stadium (the biggest nordic ski stadium in the world!) were lit up, which was really cool to see! This morning we went skiing there, on the same trails that they have World Cup races on! Last night as well I had reindeer meat for the first time! I've heard a lot of people talk about it as one of the most interesting things they've eaten while on the road racing, and I think I'd have to agree.
